01 / THE PROBLEM
How can an earthworm-inspired robotic system contribute to a sustainability-focused approach to composting and soil preservation?
02 / ROLE & IMPLEMENTATION
I contributed programming and computer vision, and coordinated Arduino and hardware-related work. The project brought software perception, control, and physical integration into a shared engineering problem.
03 / DECISIONS & TRADE-OFFS
The central design challenge was connecting the behaviour of the software with the constraints of the physical system, while keeping the sustainability concept clear and understandable.
04 / TESTING & RELIABILITY
This was a competition project, not a commercially deployed product. Specific test results and detailed hardware specifications are not published here.
05 / VERIFIED OUTCOMES
National Gold Medal in the Future Innovators category at World Robot Olympiad Syria 2024. No measured environmental improvements are claimed.
